Angela Allpress

Treasurer
Angela joined the WRNZAF in the late 1960s as a Technical and Recreational Librarian. She returned to high school in her early thirties, completing one year’s University Entrance studies which included accounting and history, and she developed a passion for both. She attended Continuing Education Courses at Auckland University in Education and Psychology.

Her working life was in various industries, mostly in administration and accounting roles. Learning and listening to professionals gave her a broader understanding and development not only of accounting principles but in exposure to different cultures and groups.

In her voluntary work Angela became Secretary/Treasurer for Not for Profit Groups, which led to being approved by the Office of Fair Trading to assist various groups in their financial accounting and auditing. She has recently joined SafeGround as Voluntary Treasurer.
