SafeGround has worked with people affected by war and conflict since 1990. We address how climate change affect peace and security. How do governments, organisations, and communities prepare for this climate-induced migration?
We recognise that climate change causes the displacement of people. And, therefore, we undertake research into climate change and its effect on driving displacement of people in Australia and worldwide. We look into how fire, flood and heat raise the level of stress in countries and communities. Does this affect peace and stability? How do people and government plan, prepare and manage the situation?
